Physiotherapy depends on patients coming back for every session. Here is what Vaidya OS covers for a physio practice, and what it does not.
What works for a physiotherapy practice
- Session reminders. Set the next visit as a follow-up date and, on a paid plan, the patient gets a WhatsApp reminder the day before and on the morning of the session.
- Your own intake questions. Add questions such as pain score, affected joint or goals to the intake form, and see the answers on the patient's record.
- Records and visit notes for every patient.
- A written exercise plan. Write the exercises, reps and frequency into the prescription and share the PDF on WhatsApp so the patient has it at home.
- QR check-in with a token queue.
What is not built in
- Session packages or tracking of sessions used.
- An exercise library with images or videos.
- Range-of-motion or outcome-score charts.
- Daily home-exercise reminders.
Home exercise: advice that works anywhere
- Give a short written plan, not a long one.
- Show the exercise in the clinic and have the patient do it once in front of you.
- Ask about the home plan at every visit.
